With Phase 1 completed in October 2019 of North Bay Hydro’s (NBH) acquisition of Espanola Regional Hydro (ERH), plans have been in-place to fully amalgamate services between the two companies. Phase 2 of this initiative is to execute those plans.
Currently, Sault Ste. Marie PUC (SSM PUC) provides many services to the ERH customer base. NBH is already transitioning some back office services today but others such as Customer Service, Billing, emergency dispatch, service spots, and other services are anticipated to be transitioned for March 1, 2022.
There will be some changes to some services and correspondence you will receive from Espanola Regional Hydro:
